The mission of the Children's House Montessori School is to assist the balanced development of children in a stimulating, creative and diverse environment so that they become confident, self-motivated individuals who have the ability to undertake that which inspires them in life.

Founded in 1979, the Children's House, located in the historic Elm Street School building in downtown Camden, serves children from toddlers to third graders. Our curriculum is based on Montessori principles and philosophy. Multi-age classrooms are designed to allow each child to explore and make connections according to his or her unique learning style. Individual attention is coupled with a strong emphasis on community relationships, instilling in children both a deep sense of personal responsibility and commitment to community.
