WHAT KIND OF CHURCH IS IT?
The Church of the Holy Light is a non-denominational church,which means that they are not "formally" aligned with an established denomination. This does not
mean that they are "anti-denominational", they simply function via internal means and methods without "external direction in policy." They consider themselves CHRISTIAN, and feel comfortable in most churches that include the doctrine of the Trinity. The church is a participating member of the Waldo County GREATER BAY AREA MINISTERIUM, which is a group of local churches and pastors with very diverse backgrounds. THE CHURCH OF THE HOLY LIGHT derives it's name from the fact that they believe that JESUS is the true Holy Light, so they could just as easily be called THE CHURCH OF JESUS.

The church is quite "laid-back" as there are "cafe style" tables set up in the church and free coffee and tea available before, DURING, and after the service. However the teachings are always from the BIBLE, and they try
to take their Christian walks with concern.
