Penobscot Bay Inn & Restaurant is the only full service inn in Waldo County that is open year ‘round. The inn offers 19 AAA Three Diamond rated rooms complete with cable TV, phone service, coffee service and a full hot breakfast at motel prices. The inn, located on US 1, at 192 Northport Avenue in Belfast sits on a five acre estate overlooking Penobscot Bay. The inn offers airport pickup from Portland and Bangor as well as driver-led tours of our beautiful mid-coast destinations.

The Restaurant at Penobscot Bay Inn has established quite a reputation over its first year as the place to go in Waldo County for excellent food at reasonable prices served in a pleasant, casual fine dining atmosphere. Open for breakfast Wednesday through Sunday from 8 till 2 and for lunch from 11 till 2, dinner hours are Wednesday through Saturday 5 till 9. Reservations for dinner are recommended, but not required. The private dining room is popular for birthday dinners and family gatherings.
