Get Involved Form Your Own Team
Just call 207-989-0332, ask for a team captain's packet for the Relay to be held at Camden Hills Regional High School in Rockport. Then, gather 8-12 people to join you, which is much easier than you think, especially when you tell them that this benefits the American Cancer Society! Simply fill out the team registration form (also included in the team captain's packet) and send it back, along with your team's registration fee, and you're in! If you would like to be a part of the Relay, but don't wish to be a team captain, we can help. We can hook you up with many teams that would love to have additional members! Just call 207-989-0332, or send us an e-mail, and we'll help you find a great team for you to be a part of!
What better way to demonstrate your company's commitment to the community than by supporting the American Cancer Society and the Camden Hills Regional High School Relay For Life. There are many opportunities for your company that can suit all budgets and are designed to help you realize your marketing objectives, such as sponsorship, donation of products and services, participation of company teams, or even providing some of your staff as volunteers for the event. There are so many things to do during the Relay that we could never possibly have enough people helping us. We're always looking for volunteers. Whether it's with the set-up or tear-down, helping put together and place the thousands of luminarias around the track, helping us run some of the games and contests at the Relay, helping out at the registration tent, helping out with the food...you name it. If you and/or your team want to pitch in and help out, please call us at 207-989-0332 or send us an e-mail to let us know. It would be greatly appreciated!
Unfortunately, these events don't happen on their own. A lot of people put a lot of effort into making each Relay as great as we can possibly make it, and a truly wonderful experience for everyone who participates. We're always looking to grow our Leadership Committee and have people who are interested in helping us join the team. The following prizes will be awarded based on the amount each participant turns in by 12:00 noon on Saturday of the event at the Relay For Life registration booth. If your company will be matching funds, you must present a letter from the company stating if you wish it to be considered toward your incentive prize but not towards the Fund Raising Club. You may choose a prize of lesser value if you wish, however, prizes are not cumulative.
