Port Clyde General Store is a more than a destination point, it's like an old friend people come back to again and again over the years. It is a Port Clyde tradition, a gathering place where the locals meet and plan the day or celebrate a special occasion over coffee at the counter. This landmark in Port Clyde provides the community with gas and groceries, and a full service deli.  Besides the usual pizzas and subs, PCGS offers a full breakfast to order with coffee and fresh baked  breads and pastries.  Lunch offerings include hot and cold sandwiches, lobster rolls, or homecooked lunch specials.  If you are boating or camping, they have a shower, water, gas, propane and will even take your trash. If you are off on adventure to Monhegan Island, stop here and stock up before you board the ferry. This must stop for tourists is the spot to chat with the locals, pick up a postcard, hat or T-shirt along with your lunch. When you visit Port Clyde, be sure to make time for the PCGS ( as the locals call it ! ) ... we are right at the end of Rt131 .. stop and play a little cribbage, always a board on the counter or enjoy our outdoor seating with your meal and admire our spectacular view.
